Bronco Billy
Peterson's problem isn't Taylor. Taylor can't put up the talent that Peterson does, and Peterson would have put Taylor's butt firmly on the bench. Peterson's issue is that MIN has no legitimate passing game. He not only will be looking at 8 in the box all year, but you may see the FS peeking in there at times also. MIN's O-line just won't be capable of creating a numbers advantage for him on a regular basis. Edited July 31, 2007 by Bronco Billy

Savage Beatings
I think Adrian Peterson is already being drafted artificially high for his situation. Maybe now his ADP will be a little more justified if it stays where its at.

myhousekey
http://www.startribune.com/blogs/vikings/?p=833 CHESTER CARTED OFF WITH INJURY Vikings running back Chester Taylor suffered an injury on Tuesday to his right shoulder or arm, and was taken from the practice field on a cart. Per Judd Zulgad of the Minneapolis Star-Tribune, Taylor was hit after catching a pass, and appeared to be in significant pain. If Taylor misses any significant time, it opens the door for rookie Adrian Peterson, whose 2006 season at Oklahoma was marred by a broken collarbone. Vikings coach Brad Childress downplayed the injury after practice, describing it as a “contusion.” Edit: Same link as RaiderSteve previously posted... Savage Beatings
Vikings coach Brad Childress downplayed the injury after practice, describing it as a “contusion.” I heard Childress address this... he said they x-rayed it and that it is just a bruise. They are putting ice on it. Sounds like its not going to be very serious... just painful.
