Sturphy
"Steelers running back Willie Parker, a virtual unknown two years ago who has since become the team's go-to back, could miss Sunday night's Hall of Fame game due to a knee problem that has keep him out of action for the past two days. Parker reportedly has swelling in his left knee, and the Steelers plan to proceed with caution." bushwacked
Slide...Slide..Slippity..Slide... Something to keep an eye on, but a clear cut #1 RB being held out of the Hall of Fame game as a precaution for the slightest of dings isn't really out of the ordinary. Is knee swelling the "slightest of dings"? I guess probably. Dunno.
kraftykraft
Is knee swelling the "slightest of dings"? I guess probably. Dunno. Frank Gore, Vernand Morency and now Willie Parker. It's a conspiracy I tell you!
jaxfactor
I gotta give FWP props for being so eager to be great. But what happened was this....in an interview the other day he said he wanted to be better than LT. Then, a split second later, lightning came crashing out of the sky and hit Willie on the knee. Now we have swelling and alot of anxious FF owners.

bushwacked
Is knee swelling the "slightest of dings"? I guess probably. Dunno. At this point, that very brief report which is skimpy on details, does not cause me too much concern.

Big John
NFL Network? The NFL Network is indeed carrying it this year.
Menudo
I wouldn't be too worried about Parker's knee. Tomlin said that the coaches and players call it 'camp knee', and that they are just being extremely cautious. I just watched Tomlin's interview on it, perhaps he is a very good actor, but, he didn't sound the slightest bit concerned. As for the first preseason game this Sunday As for the Steelers playing in that game
Avernus
The NFL Network is indeed carrying it this year. yes..I was just rolling my eyes at them and their greed... or Comcast's greed...I am not sure..
Ruffian
Personally, I see nothing in this. Camp is nothing more than off season workouts with sleepovers. I wouldn't play a starter at all this weekend. With 5 preseason games, I don't think you need much film on Parker this week to evaluate his talent. Camp is for position battles and rookies--niether of which is a concern for FWP. Someone wake up Larry Croom and Juhn Kuhn, though. They are on in five...
