McNabb is such a thug!! Doesn't surprise me that he's backing his homey, Vick. He must think that they are like the Bad Boys, "We ride together, we die together, Bad Boys fa life!!!" :D

It's more of a statement on friendship in general than McNabb saying "there's nothing wrong with dog fighting and brutally killing dogs." So I have no problem with what he said.

I mean, I'd rather he said nothing publicly and just let Vick know of his support in privately, but I am guessing he was asked a pointed question about the situation and he showed support for his friend.

Maybe McNabb is lobbying for Vick to eventually join him as a W.R. in the next few years. Personally I can't see any owner eveer hitching their wagon to Vick as their Q.B., it's just too risky to make this accident looking for a place to happen the face of your franchise, but after Vick does his mea culpa and redemption tour I can see a few owners enticed by his athleticism to contribute at a position where potential future blowups will not destroy a team.

In short, the costs benefits analysis say Vick is too risky as a Q.B., but may make it worth picking him up as a W.R./ K.R. The guy could make Devon hester look like his feet are in concrete.

? McNabb is white?? I heard he was a lousy dancer, but....

I hear what y'all are saying - I guess the part that really stuck out to me was: "Wow, you've got your so-called friends and family members turning their back on you now to make their situation better.' They're throwing you under the bus so that they can clean their name. That's unfortunate. That goes to show, I always have a saying that I've always lived by: If you can't trust family, who can you trust..."

ie he isn't even considering the possibility of vick's guilt; it's just others "throwing him under the bus." Thug? No. Apologist? Yeah.
