Swashbucklers
Does anyone know what the story is behind the lime green sticker on the back of all quarterback's helmets? I need to know!!
Big John
There is a rule that only one player on the field can carry the QB transmitter, and the green sticker is being used this year to indicate the helmets that have those so the rule can be more readily enforced. Bulldog96
It is a visual device to show the officials who has a microphone/earpiece in their helmets. Generally, QB's are the ones with the pieces and with teams running more two QB scheme's, they want to be able to visually recognize that only one of the two QB's is wearing the earpiece.
