EZDoesit
Guys, I'm sure I must have missed a posting somewhere, if so, I apologize. But why aren't there any 8 team mock drafts on the site, or am I mistaken ?

CaP'N GRuNGe
Do you really see that many 8 team leagues in existence? IMO, you've got to have 10-16, with 12 the preferable number... I have spoken with league software guys before and the breakdown is something like: 65% - 12 TEAM 35% - 10 TEAM 5% - everything else, and probably ordered it would come 8, 16 and 14. piratesownninjas
8 team leagues don't seem like they would be that fun...

Cyclones
8 team leagues don't seem like they would be that fun... I've played in 8 teamers before, major luck involved. Always top 20 guys at each position available in FA. You also end up having too many viable starters in your roster, which means you have to pick right every week. jaxfactor
I played in an 8-teameras an emergency replacement last season. I agreed only because they were desparate and got to thinking I could make some cashflow as most of those guys were very inexperienced. I took 2nd only to a guy in another local who had LT, Harrison, S.Smith, and Brady as his first 4 picks. It is IMO alot of luck. I had SJ, Portis, T.O., Palmer as my first 4. It was only that I was able to pick up Betts in free agency that I took second. Very hard to pick your starters every week which is the only challenge I like about an 8-teamer. Not much of a challenge as everyone has a decent roster. They asked me to play again this season and I said only if they went to at least 10, preferably 12. I like the extra research you have to do each week, as you have too much depth, and it makes it imperative to really take EVERY factor into consideration. I look at weather, early rumors, what they had for breakfast, anything that may help It definitely is not for everyone though as it takes almost a backwards approach to the 16 man team by trying to think who can do best, instead of who can do something in general.
