Preseason is sort of like watching NASCAR - you mainly are watching to see the crashes.

Speaking of Nascar...

HARTFORD, Conn. - A 33-year-old race car driver died in a crash involving his brother and several cars at the Thompson Motor Speedway.

John Blewett III of Howell, N.J., died Thursday night after he and Jimmy Blewett hit a wall in the 107th lap of the 150-lap NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour event in Thompson

A.P.

I think. He is carted from the field and I think he was literally crying. Knee got very awkward hit.

Very sad. He's probably gone for the year. This is another good example of why LT's not playing in the preseason.

They were talking hyperextension. Hopefully no support structure damage. He was on the practice squad last year. I would not be suprised to see the bolts bury him on IR for the year and see his role as LTs backup after Turner leaves.

As a Charger fan dating back to 1973, I am amazed at the depth this team has. Never has the team been this talented, top to bottom. And that includes the Air Coryelle / Fouts era!

:D

I read in the paper today that he suffered a dislocated patella (kneecap). He's probably out for the year, but his chances of a complete recovery are very good.
