rebdog
while i think Jacobs has talent and is obviously a load, after watching the game last night, i have serious concerns about his ability to carry the load. the guy looked completely gassed after one quarter. he couldn't get his breath. he is a very big dude for that position, so i guess i shouldn't be surprised, but i don't see how he can handle more than 15 carries a game. Bronco Billy
Then you'd better hope Tomlinson never goes down. Turner has almost exactly the same height/weight ratio as Jacobs. Edited August 20, 2007 by Bronco Billy
rattsass
Jacobs carried the ball a lot for the time he was in there, and then was at the bottom of that pile-on before he left the game. I'll give him a pass on last night, (being as how the Ravens don't play in the NFC East) but durability is definitely a concern when drafting Jacobs. NAUgrad
I actually thought Jacobs looked pretty good. Don't get me wrong, he not a #1 RB, but when he did have a lane, he hit it fast and hard. He looked much better than Droughns IMO.

He actually won a bump up my board with that showing against the #1 Ravens unit.
Jackass
Then you'd better hope Tomlinson never goes down. Turner has almost exactly the same height/weight ratio as Jacobs. no matter your height, carrying around 264 compared to 237 is not the same. Ratio's are stupid comparisons to begin with. This one is worse than most. Stupid response from Pony Boy. Jacobs is 6'4" - 264 lbs http://www.nfl.com/players/brandonjacobs/p...le?id=JAC705688 Turner is 5'10" - 237 lbs http://www.nfl.com/players/michaelturner/p...le?id=TUR608668 jacobs is too tall and bulky for his own good. Bettis was fat, but had a low center of gravity. Turner is similar, though not fat. Edited August 20, 2007 by Sgt. Ryan

Sturphy
He had 23 yards, with 17 on one carry... 23 yards on 6 attempts with a long of 14 (actually) on one carry. 3.8 ypc. Against the Ravens #1 unit. I just thought he looked good and ran with purpose. 3 extra yards a carry was an exaggeration. 1000 pardons.
