Randall
I like Jaws and he was just being nice but comparing Grossman's and Peyton's wins from their first 23 games was a bit much. Chicago was a Super Bowl contending team and the Colts had the first pick in the draft so they were pretty bad. He was saying that new QB's do make mistakes, but I thought griese looked pretty good last night. Kornheiser saying does that mean you're passing on Peyton for Grossman on your fantasy team was pretty funny. The question is will Griese get the job or will they continue with Grossman if he continues to struggle? Several of Grieses passes bounced off the receivers hands. Grossman is the quarterback of this team....when he goes...Kyle Orton is the quarterback...Brian Griese willl only be a backup in Chicago....2 cents. Which is why CHI won't win the SB while its window is open. That some pretty stupid reasoning by a team otherwise put together very, very well. rocknrobn26
Orton before Griese? That's interesting. The press and the interviews I have read/seen/heard, lead me to believe that Griese is a backup, that's it, at least for now. Meaning Rex goes down during the game, Griese will probably go in, but the following week, Orton has a better than even chance of being the next weeks starter, assuming rex can't play. The regular season practices will tell more and confirm or disaffirm this. JMHO
Bronco Billy
...went 10-5 as the Bears starter in '05.... and compiled a whopping 59.7 QB rating while doing it, #39 among QBs with 100 or more passing attempts in the 2005 season. CEO of the Barefoots
...went 10-5 as the Bears starter in '05.... more like the Bears went 10-5 with him as the starter. He was putrid when he started and the Bears were good enough to win in spite of him.

Okay, ya got me - Orton is but one of a plethora of 3rd-stringers who've started 15 games for a playoff team.

Chadman
He's Mike Vick without the dog fights. And without the throwing arm, stiff arm, two strong legs, and of course, the best "water bottle" in the biz.
