mbarton11
We had our money league draft Saturday and the worst pick was.... Vernand Morency at 3.12 The second worst pick was Javon Walker at 3.7 Can you believe these two picks. And this league is always really competitive with smart owners. At least I used to think they were smart.
Mystykoekaki
I would say Lynch wherever he is taken.
cory_n_az
I don't really see anything wrong with the Walker pick myself. I someone sees him as a Top 5 WR, I'm not going to argue. 2004: Consensus Top 7-8 WR (with a healthy group of people having him in the Top 5) 2005: Tore ACL game 1 or 2 I believe. 2006: 1000+ yard season off torn ACL, with a rookie QB for the final 1/3 of a season. 2007: Cutler only figures to get better and have very nice passing yardage this year.He did throw for 2 TD's in 4 of his 5 starts last year. I think Cutler likes Brandon Marshall quite a bit (worked together on the 2nd string last year), but everyone has their own opinion. Though I'm not going to predict it, I can see Walker having an 80 catch, 1200+, 8-10 TD season, which would put him near the top of the league. Savage Beatings
Not in my league, but a guy at work just asked me to review a team that he just drafted... it was brutal. He had the 3rd overall pick, and you guessed it... he took Peyton Manning. He missed out on all top tier RBs and all top tier WRs because he was playing catch up the entire draft after that first bonehead pick. Mystykoekaki
Anyone who took the most exciting player in the NFL Federal Penal League. I think his role will change in the FPL, I heard he will be catching a few more balls
irish
Broncos took Gore at #2 in the Huddle Ladder League, leaving SJax and LJ for following owners. Specifically SJax.
TDFFFreak
I would say Lynch wherever he is taken. Only time will tell, but completely disagree. Lynch should be the unquestioned starter in what I think is an improving offense. I'd be happy to have him as my RB2.

magagnon
One week ago, I picked 3rd in a 10 team league and figured I would have to choose between LJ or Addai. The guy at #1 picked LT ... The guy at #2 picked ..................... Ronnie Brown . I was happy to get SJax
tbimm
Nate Kaeding in the 7th round as the first kicker taken in a league, like all the rest, where kickers just dont matter!
cre8tiff
Anyone of those idiots that let LJ slip to 5 and lower. Oh and my pick of phreakin DeAngelo Williams at 3.07 as my #2 RB is causing me some upset. Of course it IS a 16 team league, but MAN did I drink the August 14th Kool-Aid. Square
Cowboys homer took Romo at 1.02 in my 12 man local last night. Un-freakin-believable. He took TO in the 2nd round (just in case you wondered).

TDCumm1608
10 person, non ppr, all td's 6 pts, everything else standard... A buddy picked Steve Smith with the #10 selection - I thought that edged out Vinatieri at the 8.03 selection

Donutrun Jellies
There were a couple of head-scratchers in a 12-team redraft league (non PPR, typical scoring, start 1 QB, 1 RB, 1 WR, 1 TE, 3 RB/WR flexes, 1 K, 1 DEF .... 1.3 Larry Fitzgerald ... Wait -- Ahead of LJ, Gore, Addai, & Peyton ??? 3.10 Jeff Garcia ... Egad - didn't see THAT coming (Bulger, McNabb still on the board) But, in truth, the pick that haunts me is 2.5 Brian Westbrook ... as I took Rudi Johnson 1.9 and Willie Parker 2.4 ahead of Westy -- have suffered with Westy's injuries before, but still, passing on him twice from the 9th spot? Oh well -- here's hoping for Rudi & Fast Willie!!
matt770
Oh we had a few in my local. We can keep a rookie but I still thought these were bad: Peterson at 2.3, Lynch at 2.7. Then we had Julius Peppers at 4.1, first IDP off the board, passing on Mike Peterson, London Fletcher, and several other top LBs. That one was probably the worst. Or maybe Branch at 3.3. Wally
Auction league, $100 salary cap. Jay Cutler went for $10. The guy that took him jumped straight from $5 to $10.....everyone laughed.

That ESPN league is always pathetic. Steve Young would always take Vick in the first round. I think 2 years ago, Suzy Kolber took Kurt Warner in the 2nd and the Pitt D in the 3rd.
