Hugh 0ne
Tiki's a bit of a b*tch here. And Eli finally had the nuts to say something. Generally amusing alltogether.
irish
Was kinda surprised to not see a thread about this. Agree with you there as I figured the fellas would be all over this one. Tiki's acting like an azz and maybe this is exactly what Eli needed to help him take over a leadership role on this team. He's already receiving support from teammates. Eli sounds like a dope when he talks but I was glad to see him take a couple shots at Tiki after what Tiki had said.
Bill Swerski
Tiki's a bit of a b*tch here. I agree. I didn't mind Tiki calling out Coughlin, as many of his players in JAX didn't like him either. But he's completely out of line here.

I agree- totally removed from NY- but Tiki comes off as a b1tchy, whining blowhard. Go whiten your teeth some more and smile for the cameras. Pope Flick
I thought about it yesterday - posting this but am tired of complaining about players. I'll keep saying what I said last year: the NYG of 2006 were one of the biggest collection of whiny biiitches I've ever seen fielded. Shockey, Tiki and Strahan all acted like chumps, and Tiki has fallen far from being the class act he was. And Eli pounded him quite well. Robash
well being a longtime Cavaliers fan...was at that first FSU ACC loss in C-Ville, and a hugh Giants fan, i can say i wasnt very impressed with Tiki's comments during the game. Part of me is wanting to believe either he was coaxed into saying somthing by producers...or that it was his way to get Eli fired up and take control of the team. but im not holding my breath on it...kind of sad for a guy that would be making 50-100k a year in Roanoke Virginia if it wernt for the Giants to go bashing the franchise QB after he retires. budlitebrad
Until Eli can take over a game and put his team into the playoffs by himself like Tiki, I don't think he has the right to question someone's heart. Maybe Tiki shouldn't have started his TV career by going after his former QB, but I think it would be hard for any analyst to disagree with what he said. I knew somebody was going to say this, maybe even Tiki himself as a quick-out excuse for what he said. I call BS!! Tiki's acting like a dope and Eli stepped to the plate and gut punched him. Done deal.
Hugh 0ne
Some simple facts: Eli Manning is not a leader, and is indeed a giant Vagina. Tiki announcing his retirement halfway through the season was lame, and his character should be questioned. Tiki attacking the Giants now, even if he's 100% correct, while sitting in a broadcast booth, proves that he too is a giant Vagina. Eli Manning's manliest moment as a Giants QB was what he said about Tiki, which was indeed quite funny. Tom Coughlin has no control over the giant Vaginas on his team, and is too a giant Vagina. I think that about sums it up

bigrocks
Perhaps Tiki should have checked his choice of words now that he is on the other side of the microphone, but what exactly has Eli done so far in his NFL career to make us believe Tiki wasn’t right on the money? Eli whined like a little biotch before and after the Chargers drafted him, and got his way with the trade to NY. Since there, he’s done little to make me believe he is worth what the Giants gave up to get him. In fact, I watched a good deal of Eli when he was at Ole Miss and I never quite got what the hype was all about. He played on a terrible team that was always playing from behind, so he got to throw the ball a lot. Sure he had some great statistical games, but I don’t remember him ever leading his team to a win over a quality opponent. He beat Bama one year, but that’s when Shula was coaching in his own special way, so I don’t think that qualifies as a quality win. Manning at Ole Miss reminded me a lot of Tim Couch at Kentucky. Big time statistics, but very little in the way of actual wins. For a guy with that family pedigree, mountains of college stats, and decent playmakers around him in NY, I just don’t think Eli Manning has shown “it” in his 4 years as a starting NFL QB. Perhaps he will begin to show “it” this season, but if I were a Giants fan I wouldn’t hold my breath.

Eli may very well be an overrated whiner, but that doesn't justify Tiki throwing him under the bus IN PUBLIC ON HIS FREAKING RADIO SHOW. I don't recall Eli speaking out about how distracting Tiki's mid-season retirement decision was last year. In fact, I've never heard Eli say anything negative about Tiki at all. But if he fells the need to throw both his ex-coach and ex-QB under the bus, I'd say that Tiki has some serious ego issues and probably wasn't the great person/teammate that the media has portrayed him as. broncosn05
Ya know I didn't like Tiki once he started being a little b**ch about retiring during the middle of the season and now I really don't like the guy. I think he's a horses ass. The guy would not have been offered any job if he didn't make his retirement such a publicity stunt. Now he takes shots as the former QB. This guy, which you guys said had so much class, has absolutely none.

#1 Niners Fan
I agree with what Tiki said, but I disagree with him saying it...especially since he was the one who created a circus last year by announcing his retirement halfway through the season... LooGie
I'm really shocked by Tiki here. I always said he was the epitome of class, and several Giants homers told me he's always mouthy when he doesn't like something, but I didn't really believe them. Then he mouthed off about Coughlin. it was no big deal when Tiki was actually on the team, but then he announces his retirement mid season and then, after the retirment, he started slamming Coughlin AGAIN. That was way out of line and selish This is completely off the wall. Tiki has lost his damned mind, and if he keeps this bitchfest attitude up, he wont have many viewers, and will be as hated as Theismann. I dont even like to listen to his show in sirius anymore, and it was one of my favorites. Tiki, S TFU.
