any Dallas homer have a good take?

 

I'm in a TD-heavy league and have the oppty to get MBIII kinda cheap

 

both MBIII and JJ are in contract years, so they're both motivated.

 

is just don't see how MBIII gets another 16 TD's

Barber will get the goalline carries. The guy is a load. 16 TD's?? Probably not again. I can see 10+ though.

 

JJ's in a contract year (unrestricted FA) and will be gone after year.

Barber's restricted (figure on him being in Dallas another year) and perhaps gone the year after.

 

I think Jerry Jones has a hard on for Arkansas RB Darren McFadden. And with 2 1st rounders (including the Browns, who figure to be woeful), he'll likely have the opportunity to get him.

Agree with you 100% on McFadden for next year.

 

Would make sense for MB to keep goalline, and that's largely been the case this summer.

While the Cowboys have lined up Julius Jones as the first-team tailback in the standard offense, head coach Wade Phillips was rather non-committal to answer when asked Sunday if Marion Barber has a chance to compete for the starting job. "Right now, we're in the early stages of all of it, which means we're starting out where we were last year," Phillips said. "But I don't know where it's going to go from there. I think they're both good backs." While Jones rushed for 1,084 yards last year, Barber added 654, along with 14 rushing touchdowns, which ranked third in the NFL. Barber is expected to handle the goal-line, short-yardage and third-down situations as he did last season.
