DeezNuts
Any insight/logic here would be helpful... 1) Scaife played with Young in college, they all ready familiar with each other and have chemistry 2) Young looks for him often, 13 receptions in pre-season (which is top ten for all players regardless of position) & 1TD 3) Ben Troupe can not stay healthy, at least at this point Scaife can. To my knowledge Troupe hasn't even played in pre-season 4) In 2006 Troupe had 13 receptions... Scaife had 29 5) Acording to the Huddle Scaife is a Tier 2 TE without being the starter, Troupe is still the starter but lands in Tier 4? With all of this... why is Troupe still listed ahead of Scaife on every depth chart including Tenn? piratesownninjas
Troupe has injured himself out of the starting position.
DMD
For one, depth charts for tight ends are not about receptions neccessarily, the first job of a tight end is to block. For another, there are no official depth charts right now. Even the depth chart on the Titans website says "unofficial".
