fitzkek
Yes yes... everyone move Benson down their draft lists. He's terrible. Do not take the #1 back on a team that rarely plays from behind and runs the ball 40 times a game. Do not draft that guy. Terrible idea. You hear that, leaguemates? Cedric Benson = awful. Finally, someone making some kind of sense around here. PRESEASON!
myhousekey
In week 3 of last year's preseason, Thomas Jones only gained 3 yards on four carries against the Cards. Joseph Addai ran for 12 yards on nine carries against the Saints. Travis Henry gained 18 yards on seven carries against the Falcons. Steven Jackson gained 22 yards on 10 carries against the Chiefs. Rudi Johnson gained 35 yards on 12 carries. And so on... I'm not saying it is a great sign for Benson, but it's not neccessarily a horrible one either. Not exactly saying the same thing that came out in the Huddle Priority News today... HUDDLE UP: Watch Benson carefully in the preseason and downgrade him if he doesn't come around soon as he has bust written all over him for this season. He is also injury prone and could be more risk than reward especially with QB Rex Grossman struggling too.

Roo
I do not think he's talented, but he has a lot of other great things in his favor. Stick with him - he's a solid #2 RB.
lekraus
i don't think payton would help much. there was 8 runs here benson was takled for a loss or no gain that doesn't sound like a RB problem that sound like an offensive line problem to me. all the talk about benson being the problem sounds like drafters running scared forget the yardage totals and worry about getting the line doing their work and the rushing totals will climb. Why is nobody talking about Garrett Wolffe? Doesnt this guy have huge sleeper potential?
Vet
Robert Guilleaume could have run better than that.
