FishFreak
With Pittsburgh's new spread offense, I'm thinking Parker will get less rushing attempts but become more involved in the passing game. Maybe 40+ receptions and more receiving yardage making him more valuable in PPR leagues. I've always thought he was under utilized as a receiving threat and he has good pass catching skills. I have no inside scoop on this just a hunch. What do you think Steeler Homers?

Not a Steeler fan but IMO they have no choice but to pass more on 3rd downs or Parker will be totally ineffective when they do try and run him on 3rd downs. irish
This has been widely discussed and reported out of Steeler Camp. FWP, as long as he's healthy, should have a terrific year.
Menudo
Yes, I expect Parker's rushing numbers to be down a bit from last year, though still good. However, I expect him to make up for it in the passing game. You have to remember that he was NEVER in last year on 3rd down passing situations, and he still put up some receiving numbers. Now, he is expected to be in there often on 3rd down passing situations. Combine that with the fact that the Steelers WILL throw the ball a significant amount more this year than they did last year, and you should see a major increase in his receiving numbers. I've been relentless in my claims that the Steelers need to use two weapons more on offense. One is Willie Parker in the passing game, as his speed makes him perfect in open space, and the 2nd is for them to throw to Heath Miller a LOT more. He is the most under-rated Tight End in the league, because the Steelers haven't used him enough. When the ball touches his hands, he catches it. He often runs over someone after the catch, and is suprisingly good running after the catch. He is also a very good blocker. I expect his numbers to step up a bit this year, and he good be a sleeper at Tight End, if the Steelers are successful in the passing department.
