mistercrinkles
is it possible to have a fantasy league with a punter? It just popped into my head lol.
Dont Rookie Me........
No you would like to get away from teams scoring and be rooting for punting. That is one step to far. If however I was going to do it to do it Dave Zastudil would be my #1 choice as I think he is going to be punting a lot!

BYoder
I'm in a league where we use punters, but honestly I couldn't even begin to tell you how they are scored. It doesn't make much sense to me to use a punter in FF but that's how the league was setup. I view my teams punter as being a step below my kicker and basically drafted whoever was left. Edit: Here is our scoring for punters. Punt Yards 1-999 0.020 points eachPunts Inside 20 1-99 1.000 point each Edited August 30, 2007 by BYoder
muck
One of my leagues had punters each of the last two years ... and much to my chagrin and disappointment, they were voted out of the league. We gave 0.025pts / punted yard and 1pt for punts downed inside the 20.

abishagenaden
Isn't that the only position they've never had a HOF'er for (yet)?

LosGatosEnFuegos
We give one point to defenses for forcing punts...i'm not in love with it. Nothing for turnover on downs.

Honestly, the Chiefs have to have one of if not THE best punter in the league, Dustin Colquitt. I am too embarrased to even state the many reasons why, but ask another Chiefs fan and they'll agree. Bronco Billy
We have punters in TOCOL. Why not? They accumulate stats and can make an impact on a game. .02 pts/yd punted, 1.0 pts for a punt inside the 20, and they can score on runs, passes, etc like other players. The top punter was the 252nd highest scoring player in the league. Edited August 31, 2007 by Bronco Billy
muck
Personally, I prefer them to team defenses because team defenses' week-to-week scoring is (generally, and dependant upon scoring syste) so wildly inconsistent that it really bothers me ... but, punters are a bit more predictable (imo).
