Chavez
But what about 3 games in a row????? I do have to say that he is looking good. That doesn't make a season either, unless you want to put all the 3-0 teams in the playoffs right now. But Moss is looking like the Moss everyone remembers. Not that injury-prone, mediocre malcontent who was wearing his jersey the past 3 years.
muck
Moss is on pace for 117 receptions, 2149 yards and 27 TDs. That would be a pretty good season, I think. Edited September 24, 2007 by muck

I'm curious how you project 17 TDs? I'm not suggesting he'll get more, I'm more curious on the method used to get 17 when he has 5 TDs through 3 games. Doc Holliday
IMO Moss is back to being the best WR in football. The worse thing about Mosses stats so far is they (Patriots) are just coasting. I think we might see some amazing stats from him when they play someone who keeps the game close til the end. I can see Moss shooting for the yards and TD record if he stays healthy. Teams cannot focus on him as much as they need to because of all the Patriots weapons. I don't see the Pats changing anything until someone shows they can stop Brady to Moss. And right now, it doesn't look like anyone can.

IIRC: Yards Record = 1848 receiving yards (Jerry Rice, 1995) TD Record = 22 receiving TDs (Jerry Rice, 1987) ...also, Receptions Record = 143 receptions (Marvin Harrison, 2002)... irish
I second this. And to be perfectly frank, I still don't want to own him, even after today. WOW!! Now that's some crazy talk right there! He's the #1 WR is FF right now and you wouldn't want to own him?!? The even crazier part is how consistently stellar his numbers have been. If anyone is gonna break it though it should be the most talented guy. and that is Moss.
