However, how in the world does a DE come up with 12 total tackles. I didn't watch the game (NYJ vs NE) but, this number of tackles raises an eyebrow. Anybody watch the game? Probably an abbhoration considering the Jets DEs are not prone to putting up good numbers in their scheme, he's worth keeping an eye on but I wouldn't jump the gun on him just yet unless you're really in need of help on the D line. Rovers Posted September 11, 2007 Share Posted September 11, 2007 He'll rack up some tackles.... fer cryin out loud, he's replacing Kimo VonOIcan'tackleanyone, but the Pats did run at him. Now that he has established that he is a pretty good run defender, I doubt many more teams will test him like that again. He's still a 3-4 DE, and that means his upside is limited.
