RokoMotion
How do you see Ronald Curry's season playing out for the rest of the year? What kinds of talent will he be comparable to? How do you interpret his week 1 performance?
isleseeya
I like him a lot ( not this week vs denver on road ) but overall curry is solid ...he finds ways to get open , has good hands , is not afraid to go into traffic and not really any other options at wr for raiders ( I have never been a porter fan ) ...I think curry can be a solid # 3 wr for most of the year
loaf
Well, he was obviously a favorite of McCown's. Will he be a fave or Culpepper's too? Inquiring minds want to know...unfortunately we won't know until after Sunday. As far as season-long goes, still to early to tell but he's looking like a borderline WR2. Again, I would not start him over a Lee Evans just yet. We will know more after the weekend.
Seahawks21
Ron Curry is an absolute freak of an athlete. I have him in all my leagues, started him last week, and don't plan on taking him out, especially if McCown stays in. I've got him already as a lower level #2, working his way up. Chargerz
An Oakland homer in my local drafted him before Porter. He defended his pick by saying he thought Curry would outproduce Porter this year. I think the homer knew what he was doing.
kpholmes
Week 1 was definitely not a fluke for Curry, but keep in mind: 1. He has had injury problems every single season. 2. He now has a new QB throwing to him this week, and probably another new one by the end of the season. 3. He plays against some of the best corners in the league in his division. (Baily/Bly/Jammer/Law) He is a tremendous athlete, and Kiffin will find ways to get him the ball, but the rest of that offense has to work for him to produce.
