hutchprime
Is Kerry Rhodes going to play like a Top 10 DB this year, or do I need to pick somebody else up? If so, will any of these guys likely outperform him? (2pt/TK, 1pt/AST, 4pts/INT, 3pts/SK) Jim Leonhard BUF Darren Sharper MIN Cedric Griffin MIN Madieu Williams CIN Terrence McGee BUF Eric Wright CLE Otherwise, I’m probably going to have to make a deal. Sgt. Ryan
Madieu Williams CIN is worth picking up. I said before the season started, Rhodes is likely to fall back to 2005 numbers, which is still top 30, but not top 10.
hutchprime
Looks like you were dead on. What do you think about Whitner? He's out there and one thing I like about him is it seems like there may be some consistency because his points are coming from tackles and not 'big plays'. I like Whitner, because late in games, he will be in the box to stop the run, unlike Rhodes who is in coverage more and more. Not sure I like Whitner much more than Rhodes, but I mihgt do a 2-1 deal, giving up Rhodes and a lesser player and upgrade somewhere, then pick up Whitner with the open roster spot. Rovers
Rhodes will be an up and down DB. His FF production is VERY dependent on the weekly game plans. I think by season's end, he will be a top 20 DB, and possibly at the bottom of top 10. I believe he will start blitzing more often, as the Jets are yet to record a sack. Too early to give up on him yet. Any strong safety that plays every down is going to make top 20. I expect a big game from him against Miami this week. Swiss Cheezhead
I wouldn't give up on Rhodes yet, either. But you should DEFINITELY get Mad. Williams -- he's playing great right now.
Slugs
What about Rodney Harrison. If you can wait a week, he may be lurking around on the waiver wire this week. Of course next week may be too late.
