alexgaddis
Strong words. Are you familiar with Blair Thomas? And there are certainly plenty even worse than that. Ryan Leaf might be tough to top. Just a frustrated Vikings fan who was screaming at the tv when that pick was made...

How did you react when they missed turning in a selection on time? Twice.

Easy n Dirty
- at least they still got the guy they were going after in that situation... Who did they get with that pick? I remember they got their guy, maybe at #9 instead of #7 where they were gonna' take him, and then the guy held out because he wanted to be paid like a #7 pick rather than a #9 pick - which I thought was kinda' reasonable. How did that ever get resolved?

Mystykoekaki
Kevin Williams, wasn't it? Didn't they have trouble drafting McKinnie too? Yes, it was Kevin Williams and a HELL of a draft pick.

How did that ever get resolved? They had completed a trade with the Ravens and called their end of the deal into the league office, thereby thinking they were not on the clock. The Ravens claim they called the office but the friggin line was busy. Baltimore was trying to trade up to grab Leftwich ahead of Jax. Meanwhile, Jax sees the clock ran out and they grab their guy in Leftwich, the Vikings end up with the guy they wanted all along in Kevin Williams, and Baltimore ends up with Kyle Boller. The other clock issue was when it ran out on another team. The Vikings then tried to jump in with their pick and were physically blocked from the podium in turning it in. That issue was in no way on them. Edited September 20, 2007 by CaP'N GRuNGe

MikesVikes
Tony Galbreath Ed Marinaro Sammy White John Gilliam Ahmad Rashad Brad Johnson has at least one reception. When will we know? I'm going with the original plan of Ricky Young. Then AC, Sammy, then Rashad.
SpinalTapp
I was thinking Onterrio Smith - then again....he only played in about five games.
