Easy n Dirty
he is listed as doubtful on MFL, but that might not mean anything... Â Â MFL's listing midweek are a little screwy since the NFL changed the format of the IR reports - the new category Did Not Particpate in Practice translates to Doubtful on MFL. Â For example, Frank Gore did not practice yesterday (team decision), and is therefore listed on the 49ers Wendesday Injury Report as Did Not particpate in Practice, and is therefore shown on MFL as Doubtful, but I don't think he's injured at all. Â Not much in today's NY Post on Burress, here's what they say - "WR Plaxico Burress continues to be limited because of a sprained right ankle that he re-injured last weekend. He will try to practice today. 'He still appears to be a little sore', Tom Coughlin said."

Easy n Dirty
Nice in-depth analysis COACH. Why don't you analyze the prospects of getting fired after this season, HUH COACH!!! Â Â Now now, plenty of reasons to bash Coughlin, but this probabbly isn't one of them - if it were Belichick, Mangini or SHanahan they'd be trying to convince us it was a wrist injury. Easy n Dirty
Plaxico sat again yesterday, here's the update from this morning's NY Post: Â WR Plaxico Burress did not practice again. He said he's resigned to missing plenty of time during the week because of a sprained right ankle. "I did it so long ago and it's just nagging", said Burress, who hopes to get on the field today. quincyxg
From "another site" Sep. 21 - 12:52 pm et  Plaxico Burress (ankle) returned to practice Friday, as expected.  Burress was on the field for the media portion at least, and was expected to put in a complete workout after missing practice Wednesday and Thursday. The Giants face the Redskins on Sunday and while Washington's secondary has been playing at a very high level, Burress remains a must start. Vet
I think he'll give it a shot, but whether he's effective is a big question mark to me. If you have an other option, I'd go with that. I'm starting Santana Moss over him this week, but will go back to Burress next week if he looks like he's moving around OK.
quincyxg
Quick update Sep. 21 - 2:03 pm et - LINK  Giants coach Tom Coughlin revealed that Plaxico Burress (ankle) was limited in Friday's workout. Plax will be a game-day decision in Week 3.  "He was limited," Coughlin said. "He did some things. He didn’t complete the full practice, but...we will see. It is going to be one of those deals depending on how he feels on game day." Anthony Mix is likely to start if Burress sits out. Sinorice Moss would work as the primary slot receiver. The Giants head to Washington for an afternoon tilt, so be prepared to use other options.

muck
To me, there is no way he sits if he's close to being able to go. Â Why? Â NYG is 0-2 and they're playing WAS ... the division leader ... who is 2-0. If NYG loses, the season is pretty close to being over. Â If Plax can walk, he will play. Â IMO. #40
from rotoworld.com...    Plaxico Burress-WR- Giants Sep. 23 - 10:09 am et   According to Newsday, it's "safe to assume" that Plaxico Burress (ankle) will face the Redskins on Sunday afternoon.  This runs contrary to what FOXSports.com and the New York Daily News have been indicating. Newsday points out that Plax "may not hate missing practices, but he does hate missing games." His status remains uncertain. Swiss Cheezhead
I've read that he'll almost certainly play, but there's a good chance he won't be able to finish the game. Â Sat Sep 22 11:45:00 a.m. ET 2007 (Rotoworld) The New York Daily News believes that even if Plaxico Burress (ankle) is active Sunday afternoon, he's only 50-50 to finish the game.Impact: Burress couldn't complete last week's loss to Green Bay without aggravating his ankle sprain. He's quite a risky fantasy play against Washington.

kingdon777
I have him on my fantasy team too. However, I am concerned that even if he starts will he finish the game? He does not appear to be the tough player who is willing to play through pain. He is sitting on my bench this week. As you probably already know he didn't play at all in the 4th qtr last week...
