Chief
I know it's an away game, hostile crowd but we're used to that from even our own crowd. McNabb as good as he is, will not be able to air it out against Detroit and hope to match production. I think we'll get sufficient pressure, cause mistakes, and hopefully keep Westbrook in check. This will either be a very good game to watch or Detroit is going to blow them out of the water. 3-0 start, 7 more to go Kitna.
ReturnToSender
Westy 107 yards rushing and 8 receptions for 82 yards and 2 TDs, and Phily still loses. I am fine with that!

McNabb is shaking off the rust and our defense is a heap better than yours, even without Lito. Your defense has no choice but to hope they can get better. I don't see Philly as having a significantly better defense. Add K Jones to the mix, Philly is definitely going to have it's hands full. I do like Philly, always have, but this year, this week will be a different bird. We heard a ton about Oaklands and Minnys D too. Lions 31- Philly 24. Puddy
As much as I want to agree with you Chief, I don't see a victory. A 2-0 Lions team on the road against an 0-2 Eagles team. The Eagles are reaching must win status already (I believe only 5 or so teams have made the playoffs after starting 0-3). Given the Lions road record recently, I just think it's too big a leap at this stage of their 'turnaround' to expect a win tomorrow. Hopefully I am wrong. Scourge
All I'm saying is that if McNabb don't get right this week... The Eagles are in big trouble. And as an FYI... I am pulling for the Lions this season.. Except for this week

gd74
Gotta love Philly fans.....still talking trash even when they are 0-2. It would be fun to see how many loses it takes before they shut up !!! The Philly D is a shell of its former shelf. Omar Gaither is NOT a middle linebacker and teams will run at them all year. You have a first year linebacker ....forget the guys name.....but played DE in college.... Then with Lito out.....and I hear that the heart and soul of that defense may not be playing.... Dawkins.... Chachi
Any word on Westbrook? I assume he's going to play, and should get plenty of touches, but missed any early ESPN news on his status...

Like I thought, even without Dawkins and Lito... Detroit has no answer for our D.. At least not yet.. I expect the Lions to make up a little ground here.. Chief
Still keeping the faith as it is not yet the 4th quarter. Haven't seen the game til just now from getting back from Bass Pro Shop with my boys. Heard a little on the radio and it wasn't sounding good. Ok, I give, if ya can't tackle Westbrook at all, we lose point blank. Them old uniforms greased? Sigh...

Chief
McNabb returns from the dead to kill the Lions. Both defenses sucked, Philly allowed about 450 yards, Detroit allows almost 550. Westbrook was unstoppable, ok, I'm back down to earth now...
