Just yesterday, as I was walking to lunch with a coworker Icommented on how every food item is made better by the addition of cheese or bacon.... but that adding both to an item does more than just double the extra goodness.

I agree with this statement on every food except the afore mentioned steak. that should be left alone, maybe some s & p, and sometimes some lump crab.

Bacon wrapped filet mignon an accepted exception to the rule. I'm not a fan of bleu cheese, but top that with bleu cheese and allow it to melt could make for a nice combination of steak, bacon and cheese

There are exceptions to any rule. I still prefer my steak with nothing, not even bacon.

Love me some cheese fondue...... use bacon or coppacola/prosciutto with little french bread pieces as one of my dipping agents. Or wrap the bacon or ham around some ripe melon cantalope etc and dip... yummy
