Philly homers: McNabb throws for 612 yards & not one to Avant?

OK, so he did have one catch vs. DET....

First two games, the kid looks pretty big, fast, tough over the middle....8 catches for 109 yds and a TD...speculation that he could emerge as a target of McNabb's. Etc. Then comes Sunday's Kevin Curtis/Westy show and Avant gets one catch, 9 yards.

As a 4th passing option at best behind Westy, Curtis and even the disappearing Reggie Brown, is Avant worth hanging onto as a possible Flex/bye-week sub?

I was at the game Sunday and it was obvious they were exploiting the Curtis matchup; I don't know who was trying to cover him but he was toast. So McNabb threw to him all day long. Brown and Avant were non factors.

Like most #3 WRs, Avant is going to be hit or miss and probably isn't worth keeping except in deeper leagues. He'll probably have some good games but predicting them will be impossible.
