Edit: :D OK...

1. McIntosh

2. D. Johnson

3. Harris

4. Dansby

5. Thornton

6. L. Johnson

Except McIntosh is on a bye this week. Look at Jamar Williams stat line from the Cowboy game...something like 7-8 tackles and 2 assists. I would go with him and then pick McIntosh.

Right, and Williams got a bunch of those as the game winded down and the Cowboys were just running. Not saying Williams is a bad option, but I'd much rather have McIntosh for the remainder of the season.

I certainly agree....but the title of the thread is that he needs a backup for Briggs and Thomas. Now, Thomas may very well play this week...who knows...but lets conclude he does. That leaves him needing to start someone for Briggs...McIntosh is on bye and won't work out this week...or I agree...he is a better long term solution. So, I would pick up Jamar Williams to start only this week and also pick up McIntosh to play for the rest of the season.
