I can only go by what I read, and that is that Marshall is a "Baby T.O." - tall, physical receiver with good hands, etc. Is any of this true, and can he keep thriving in what has typically been a run heavy offense? Now add to that Walker missing time in practice this week because of swelling in his knee, and Marshall could get even more attention. One reason he's been so effective is because Walker draws the coverage. Having said that, if both players remain healthy and Cutler continues to develop, I think you'll get excellent production out of both of them going forward. In a redraft league; and the 1st and 2nd rounder are going to miss how many weeks? In a keeper league; where the 1st and 2nd rounder are maxed out on the number of years they can be kept? In a keeper league; where the 1st and 2nd rounder are not as good as the other keepers? SO many variables, and we haven't even scratched the surface. Not a keeper league. I'm taking a hit this week in that I could use Marshall in my lineup, but I figure the payoff is in week 6 and beyond. That must be a lot of fun - kind of like getting excited about screwing a soda machine over because it gives you a Coke when all you did was put in 50 cents. But right now he's on my roster with an 8 year contract. What seemed like overpaying then, I would not sell for today. A trade is so much more than this player for that player. Its all about time, circumstances, and perspective. But you are also right, I hate to see people bragging about ripping off the short-bus kids.
