Endzone
Will the change at QB Culpep help jumpstart Porter or is he wasting space?
kpholmes
Will the change at QB Culpep help jumpstart Porter or is he wasting space? Wasting Space. It has nothing to do with the QB, Kiffin loves Curry and wants to get him the ball. That's all there is to it.
Tecmo
Yeah, Porter is going to get more opportunities with Culpepper keeping the chains moving. Daunte loves to throw deep, so Porter should get some good games in. I doubt the stats will be consistent though, every time I watch Oakland this year... all they want to do is run all day. Not enough opportunities
gd74
I think he will.....but not for a few weeks....Culpepper will play ball control for a couple of weeks before he really airs it out.....
policyvote
I think he will.....but not for a few weeks....Culpepper will play ball control for a couple of weeks before he really airs it out..... So you suspect he might be productive for a few weeks before he starts turning the ball over in earnest? Peace policy
peepinmofo
The real question is... Jerry Porter or Nate Burleson?
byron2112
It's very likely that Porter will wake up. McCown has a very weak arm, maybe the weakest in the league( I had no idea), and he doesn't trust it either, and therefore doesn't challenge defenses... at all. Porter has been open downfield but McCown just won't puill the trigger. The couplea long plays he's completed the reciever has been wide open, I mean no one within 10 yards open, and every one has been underthrown where the reciever has to wait for it. matykus
TThis week the wind is blowing at 15-20 mph so deep balls are not likely in Miami.
byron2112
Porter has two touches today, and Curry was a bust,... go figure? I don't think I'd want any part a this passing attack even though there is some talent there.

byron2112
Well yeah, when the Raiders drop 300 on ya, and Huggy bear drops 150+.... you got problems. But the Raiders don't want to pass right now anyway, casue both those QB's are kinda shakey in their own way.
