i know season is only 4 weeks old and Gore does have a few td's but overall he is not producing .. i also realize niners passing game is in shambles and they are stacking 8-9 in the box .. still i expected more ...His yards per carry is atrocius and while he did face a tough D or two i am just getting feeling he will not even come remotely close to last years numbers and production ..

I am not a happy camper :D ...well i hate camping but i hope Gore turns this around and quick

Don't complain yet, it could be worse.

Gore's doing everything you could possibly expect him to do under the circumstances. How much production do you think you're going to get out of a RB when he doesn't have a QB that can seem to complete a pass and keep a drive alive? For all of Norv Turners faults as a head coach, he did wonders for that team as it's offensive coordinator. Without him, it's 2005 all over again.

paging Broncosn05. . .please report to the principal's office. . .

:D:D

Gore is averaging 11+ pts a game in my leagues. Not amazing, but certainly nothing to whine about.

Eh. It should be up around 20.

Averaging 11 pts and there is nothing to whiine about ??? There is a lot to be desired if your # 1 pick , coming off a monster year is only averaging 11 pts a week and that includes having faced cardinals and sewhawks who gore torched last year

I realize sjax and lj have been worse but that does not make gore owners jump up for joy

So far , even though there are some valid reasons for gore"s struggle , he has been a bust ....not saying this will continue or he is all at fault but his #'s don't lie and worse will not compare anywhere near close to last year's numbers

Ok that was my vent ...carry on

i dont see how us gore owners are supposed to be happy with his performance. he got me 9 pts this week.......projected was 19. we drafted him as our #1 pick and the cornerstone of our team, he is not playing like it. this is a guy who had 2180 total yards from scrimmage last season and is only supposed to get better.

the reason for gore's relatively poor performance thus far is the niners offense sucks. they have alex smith under center and have no offensive line to block for gore. teams are stackin the box and tryin to shut down gore because they know the niners cant beat them elsewhere. most people felt the niners offense would be a lot better this yr....that hasnt been the case.

Your blind hatred shines through for everyone to see.
:D

Time to stop drinking from the optimistic Kool-Aid well and start normalizing expectations. The 49ers suck, and teams that suck don’t score FF points. KC sucks, NO sucks, the Bears suck, the Bolts suck, and of those I only see the remote possibility of the Bolts turning it around. On a happy note, the Lions rock, GB kicks ass, The Bengals have an awesome offense and a horrible D… perfect recipe for FF points. Yup… time for a sanity check. I have Steve Smith in two leagues, and if Hommie is out, Smith is the only game in town without anyone to throw to him. I may deal him this week if I can get enough… can’t wait on this stuff. I know it’s still early, but it’s 25% over. The cheatsheets were just guess. From here on out there are guys that will do OK, but not have those monster games. Gore is one of them, but he’s at least in the game… just don’t expect too much, and be glad he’s scoring points. Brandon Jacobs is keeping my bench real warm :D , and MJD ain't exactly scary.

couldnt have said it better.

Winning FF is about capitalizing on whats in front of you....not with what happened yesterday.

The 49ers passing game is just pathetic. On the heels of last week's stellar performance, Dilfer is currently 2/6 for 8 yards and that will most likely be his stat line for the first half. Gore's not going to be able to do jack as long as this guy is under center.
