    • Ryan Grant

I know it's a RBBC in Green Bay, thereby making it a mess. But somebody HAS to emerge out of these 4. Especially now that Brett Favre has broken Dan Marino's record, focus should be shfted back to the running game.

Which one of these 4 has a better chance of making an impact down the road? Also, any comments?

Gotta be Morency. GB showed yesterday that they consider Jackson (was he hurt?) as no more than a situational RB, Grant singlehandedly put MIN back into a game that the rest of the team had put a foot on the throat & applied pressure. Wynn would be the only other possibility but his production aside from a couple of big plays is miserable.

I'd say it's Morency by default.

Jackson didn't play, strained shin.

At the rate they're passing, it really won't matter who the RB is.

Morency, only because he hasn't shown that he's not up to the task.

For that very reason I would say Grant because Morency has already shown he is nothing special while Grant needs to start a game or two to prove that he is not up to the task. If there is any back on the Packers that would end up with fantasy value of any note, it would be either Grant or no one and probably no one. Morency is much more like a third down back.

I still think that Brandon Jackson could improve enough to become fantasy significant... especially with his open field speed and ability to catch out of the backfield. But if he doesn't improve his blocking and his timing to the hole, then he just won't see enough time on the field to imporve in those areas (at least not this season). He will either "get it" very quickly, or else he will become this year's JJ Arrington. Still out of this list, he gets my vote.

Voted Morency.

Just plain ugly though. I think Morency gives us the best chance right now. I'd like to change my earlier stance on "1 yard" Wynn. He now looks lumbering to me. Probably always was, I just... uh... was hopeful I guess??

:D

No harm, no foul, so don't sweat it Sturphy. Happens to us all every now & then. :D
