Huddle Confusion

I realize that the player predictions that comes out on wednesdays will not always match up with the start / bench list that comes out on thursday's but this week I found a big discrepancy

The prediction section indicates lance moore from saints should be looking at 60 yards receiving and a td ( again its only a prediction but interesting as he gets a good plug and would appear he would start opposite of colston ) and then in the start / bench list , moore is not even mentioned at all

Pretty big disparity ..what gives ?

Whitney Walters does Start/Bench and David Dorey does the predictions. Both have different opinions has to what he will do. Judging from the depth charts and a passing game that isn't living up to expectations yet, I think the more appropriate question is why does DMD see something more then WW.

For a team that is struggling so mightlily as the Saints, predicting anything beyond Colston carries a pretty small level of probability even though overall you know Brees will throw and someone will catch it. My prediction for Moore stems from what I think is likely to develop because someone has to step up for the Saints and they have to try new things because old things ain't getting it done. That's one of the downsides to projecting hard numbers - you have to come up with a hard number but that alone does not indicate the level of probablility that it will happen for an individual and since I project a total number of passing yards, I need to show how it will breakdown. That is one reason why I really do not personally like customized rankings because it only uses that one number and cannot take into account the risk, consistency and upside of a player.

I like Moore mostly because I dislike him less than the other wideouts there and someone has to step up.
