Bigby for real?

Recommended Posts

I thought Collins was gonna hold the clipboard for Rouse?

That certainly wasn't the intention. The FO and coaching staff planned on Collins being a fixture in the secondary -- probably beyond any other current starter.

And if Bigby keeps playing the way he is now, then he won't be holding a clipboard for anyone. Rouse was a 3rd-round pick, sure, but there's not reason to believe that will earn him playing time over a productive starter.

No. One reason Manuel left was because Harris and Woodson said they didn't trust him. They seem to work well with Bigby so if he keeps playing well he won't lost the job anytime soon. I like Rouse's size but why play with good chemistry and success.

The earlier post that said Rouse may start was only because they want him on the field.

Yep - they allowed him to wear LeRoy Butler's number becasue they like him so much.

I don't see Rouse playing very much this year as long as Bigby continues to play as he has been.
