Guest ksu70 Posted October 8, 2007 Share Posted October 8, 2007 Not that anybody had them as a top five defense coming into the year but I can't think of many sources that did not have them as a top sleeper pick for this year. This site had them as a top start against the Bears. Through five games they are: 23rd vs. the pass 14th vs. the run 11th in sacks 9th in interceptions 13th in scoring defense That all adds up to a very average defense. Doc Holliday Posted October 8, 2007 Share Posted October 8, 2007 (edited) I think the ranking this week had more to do with the Bears offense than the Packer defense. so far this year the Bears had given up more fantasy points to defenses than any other team. if I would of had them(Packers) in any league I would of started them. As far as the whole season is concerned I thought everyone was overranking the Packer defense from the start...but then again I thought everyone was overranking the whole team and they are 4-1.
