fingfootball
Why not put B. Croyle in, after yesterday what do we have to lose? The last two time they have let him in (with like 3 minutes left on the clock) he went 4/4 and 50 some yards. Yesterday he goes in and throws a score and 83 yards. And is Herm Edwards alittle overrated? From what I can see, he is a 500, average coach. Rebuilding the Chiefs, my rear!
Jackass
Huards better. They're trying to make the playoffs.
Hat Trick
I see no reason why Huard is still in there. The offense has been struggling to run the football in a bad bad way. The Chiefs have got to find out what Croyle brings to the table, the kid has a rocket arm and you can easily see that he's more physically gifted. Damon is in there to not make mistakes. This team passes well when they try. They ran the ball like 12 times yesterday and I still knew every single time they ran that they were going to. They're way too predictable on offense, period. They have 2 downfield targets that can't be stopped really in Bowe and Gonzo, they got Tony involved early but didn't start to get Bowe involved until the second half. The team lacks direction on offense. Herm is what he is, an average to above averrage head coach. The team made great halftime adjustments the two weeks previous, but not yesterday. fingfootball
Huard did well last year and filled in, that is what he is...a back-up. It's his 11th season and how many starting QB jobs has he had.
Ursa Majoris
Herm is what he is, a below average to above average head coach. Fixed.

H8tank
Yesterday he goes in and throws a score and 83 yards. Pure trash time with seconds left on the clock against a defense that was trying to stop the big play, the middle was open no problem, the TD was simply a blown coverage a nobody WR caught, don't get too caught up in yourself, KC is bad regardless who quarterbacks. timnmakayla
Chiefs: Huard already ruled out for Week 6 10/08/07 09:36 AM THE NEWS Damon Huard was knocked out of Sunday's game with a shoulder injury. While the Chiefs had no exact details on the nature of the injury, Huard already has been ruled out for Week 6, according to the KC Star. Our View Brodie Croyle will be the starter for the Chiefs when they face the Bengals this week and will have a chance to claim the job going forward. Doc Holliday
I agree 100% Well Said! The fact that they ran it 12 times is crazy! Not so crazy when you see how many yards they got off of those carries. Herm needs to get LJ involved in the passing game. but we are talking about Herm Edwards. And all of that is Huard's fault because-? LJ going for 1/2 yds a pop is probably not the QB's fault. What, he isn't handing off properly? Croyle blows. Garage time yds aren't exactly impressive. Really neither of them are though, so probably KC SHOULD use Croyle the whole way, but only because he'll suck worse than Huard and they'll get a nice high draft pick next year to grab a QB. That and a new coach (a little OL boost wouldn't exactly hurt) would work wonders. Ironic, given that they finally put together a decent D. muck
I still say that, despite winning back-to-back games heading into this week, my team, the Chiefs, will be doing well to win six games. I still think they've got a real shot at winning only 3 or 4 games all season long.

I never said that the teams inability to run the football is Huards fault, although it is part of it. Huard doesn't have the physical tools to open up the offense. The Chiefs have failed to address the concerns on the O-line for 3 years now in the draft. They have a potential franchise QB sitting on the bench for a 36 year old backup journeyman QB. It makes no sense to have Huard out there when the team is not a contender. Play the young QB and find out what he can do, they need to know whether he was a bad selection. Croyle blows How about you give some reasons why he blows, he hasn't even been given the chance yet, and when he is he'll probably struggle, most first time starters do. Why I am even replying to you I don't know, you've never been able to add anything to these boards.

Seems like a great person but we don't judge our coaches solely by how great they are as people.

I'm not saying the Chiefs are any good at all this year. But if were in a "rebuilding year" (which the Chiefs have been most of my 38 years) put the kid out there and let him take his lumps. Huard has no future with KC.
