darin3
Just reported on local radio that the school has announced WR Limas Sweed will miss the rest of the season. He'll have surgery on his wrist that's been bothering him all season and won't return.
Perchoutofwater
That sucks for him. It will probably cost him millions of dollars. He was going to be a definite 1st round pick, probably the 2nd or 3rd WR taken. It will be interesting to see how far he falls now.
Coffeeman
If UT has any depth at all, the loss of one WR shouldn't doom their season. I mean, USC has had no problem replacing Leinart last year and DJarrett this year. Uh, oh wait.... Edit to add: speaking of Booty, he's got no loft on his ball, so its no wonder we have no deep threat. And in turn, that explains why our D can't defend the long pass either - esp. on 4th and long vs. a first time QB, apparently. If your QB1 can't throw it in practice, then you can't get practice defending it, right? Holy crap - hope no Pac10 O-coordinators read this board.... polksalet
This is another good example of going to a reputable manicurist. Once again the deadly nail fungus rears its ugly head.

polksalet
That was my first thought as well ... to bad for him. I have never been impressed with him. He looks like he lacks heart to me. I think the Crosby kid can be a stud however.
