Did he participate in practice yesterday? As with many Pats player, it's hard to get a feel on how severe his injury is, and how long he'll be out. Any chance he sees some action against the Boys next Sunday?

I was under the impression that he was close to playing last week so this week would be likely.:D

MARONEY OUT, AGAIN

Pats running back Laurence Maroney has been listed as inactive for Sunday's

game against the Browns, according to NFL.com.

Sammy Morris will get the start in his place, per Michael Fabiano of

NFL.com.

Maroney was a surprise scratch from Monday night's game against the Bengals.

Both weeks, he was listed as questionable with a groin injury. Maroney was

a limited participant in practice on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.

Receiver Donte' Stallworth is active despite also being listed as

questionable.

All I know is...I'm glad I picked up Sammy Morris off of waivers before the Maroney owner in my league could grab him.

:D

In one league I have Moraney and not Morris....the other I have Morris and not Moraney :D....Moraney

funny how I am 5-1 in the league with Morris and something like 2-3 in the one with Moraney...

WOW....Another futuretelling guru. After only 5 weeks of NFL, he is 5-1!!! :D

nope...it was kinda meant to be sarcastic...

Morris and Moraney have little to do with either of my records...

edit: my opponent has Addai and wayne on a bye...so I guess I jumped the gun anyways

Sammy Morris and Kenton Keith will be the 2 RBs to have come fantasy playoff times!!!!!

Not really. Given that the Colts and Pats will probably still be vying for home-field advantage, I'd expect Addai and Maroney to still get the majority of the carries if they're healthy.

it depends on the final weeks of the season and when the Colts/Pats play eachother as well....the rest of the teams won't play a factor because the Steelers are the next best team in the AFC and they play the Colts and Pats as well.....

I think things will shake out a bit more clearly by that time...
