Oakland RB situation

Purely on speculation and my opinion. I think Oakland will rest Jordan at least one more week and Fargas will get the bulk of the carries. He knows the system better and he is a good runner. He is fragile that the only concern to have with him.

I see a 60/40 split with Fargas and Rhodes

Don't worry. I won't come back on Monday crying about your information. :D

Durn back injuries--this one seems to be nagging too.

It looks like Fargas will get the most chances, and Rhodes behind him. In future weeks, assuming Jordan isnt healthy, I would expect Rhodes to take over about 60% of the carries since Fargas tends to break down a bit physically. So the I expect the Raiders to try to save him a bit as long as Rhodes is running ok.

i have to decide between Rudi(not starting and getting some carries) vs Fargas or Chet Taylor....I am playing Rudi because even if fargas gets the lion share of the carries they are playing the Chargers and they are a top 10 Run D and they should continue to play better with both Wilhelm and Cooper manning the ILB slots

you need to asses your match-up and decide if you just need some production to win or a home run

Rudi is playing but how much?

Fred is active

Morency should see time since BJax is inactive

Fargas will get the most carries of all of these guys

Rudi and Fred are swings for the fences but bring a greater risk

Morency or Fargas will bring some production but doubtful to have big days

Well, at least his back isn't bothering him too much...glad to see as a Jordan owner.

Now, where the heck was Rhodes? He was eligible to play this week, was he not?

If you haven't noticed Kiffen is the new BB when it comes with injuries and who is going to start or not. He plays those stupid games we all love to hate! I assume Jordan will have a nice match up against KC in Oaktown on Sunday then again Rhodes or Fargas could get the start :D Jordan's back did seem to hold up fine throughout the game. He even was impressed with himself on how hard he ran.

Yeah what's up with Jordan being listed as doubtful then taking the majority of the touches?

Some news I just read on Jordan. Looks like he might be good to go this Sunday :D And some news on the unhappy Rhodes. :D

LaMont Jordan was moving well in the locker room Monday and not in any apparent pain after 24 touches against a hard-hitting San Diego defense.

Dominic Rhodes, meanwhile, as tactfully at possible, said he wasn't thrilled with his one snap (negated by penalty) after returning from a four-game suspension.

"I don't like being on the sideline. That's just how it is," Rhodes said. "I think I'm pretty good at this game. If I'm sitting on the sideline I'm just not doing what I can do. Period."

– Kiffin said he was fine with Rhodes being upset. He wouldn't want it any other way. He said game circumstances never allowed for a change-of-pace back.

I really like the last sentence "He said game circumstances never allowed for a change-of-pace back". That implies Rhodes will only be getting limited touches in certain circumstances. That's much better than the splitting carries scenario expected to happen.

:D shouldn't have violated the league's substance abuse policy if he doesn't like being on the sideline.

Agreed.

Kiffin looks at Rhodes as a "change of pace back" not a "third down back" or a "by comission back" we all feared.

Good news for Lamont owners.

Now let's hope Lamont holds up and Kiffin continues to feel that way. I guess Lamont has really proved himself to Kiffin who now has his respect.
