Shorttynaz
THAT'S ALL I KEEP HEARING TODAY DURING THIS PANSY'S/GIRLS GAME.. Let me just throw this out about single seaon records. Just ask Peyton Manning how far they get you!!! It's a team game. You will eventually need a running game. It's still the first half of the season, and what Brady is doing IS impressive, but they're not perfect yet.. Still some work to do.. Oh yeah, and the Colts are STILL undefeated too!! See you November 4th Pats..

No they won't, but in case they do, they are also making Sammy Morris and Kevin Faulk look much better than they are.
DMD
Here's an interesting tact - how long will Brady play in the final games of the season when NE has already wrapped up their division?
Big John
Here's an interesting tact - how long will Brady play in the final games of the season when NE has already wrapped up their division? May still play in order in looking at home field advantage with the Colts nearby.

Furd
C'mon now. Brady is just a decent game manager and byproduct of the system.
Bill Swerski
Here's an interesting tact - how long will Brady play in the final games of the season when NE has already wrapped up their division? I remember when Peyton was on pace to throw like 58 or some ridiculous number. That was killed by Dungy taking him out in the 4th quarter of blowouts and both of them refusing to run up the score on teams (like Peyton taking a knee against the Ravens, instead of trying to tie the record). I have no doubt that Brady could throw 50+ this year, but he won't stay on his current pace.

Edit for link: http://www.nfl.com/stats/categorystats?arc...amp;Submit=Find Today's stats.. 30 carries for a total of 74 yards.. Nothin' to brag about (although 6-0 is).. Nice win Pats.. See you in Indy in a few weeks.. Should be one last battle of the unbeatens!!

He and Manning are machines though.
CaptainHook
WInter is coming. And Brady doesn't play in a dome.

I wouldn't put anything past Belichick, but it would be not only classless, but just plain stupid for him to have Brady throw "go" routes to Moss with a 20-point lead in the fourth quarter of Week 16. piratesownninjas
but he won't stay on his current pace. We said the same thing about LT last year...
kpholmes
Would be very unfortunate to have Brady of all people take the record form Peyton... Edited October 15, 2007 by kpholmes
Bill Swerski
We said the same thing about LT last year... Why are you comparing LTs 31 TDs (after Priest and SA put up 27 and 28 just recently) to Brady throwing almost 60 (which no QB has ever gotten near)? The Irish Doggy
NE will keep passing this year if for no other reason than it is so darn effective. I had thoughts that Brady could go for Peyton's record after only game 2. Now I'm sure of it.
gilthorp
Here's an interesting tact - how long will Brady play in the final games of the season when NE has already wrapped up their division? Wouldn't the prudent play for all Brady owners to be the pickup of Cassel after the week 10 bye?
