bark
Does douchier = better? If so, a lot. Otherwise I don't feel he is missed very much. Ward totally stepped up. The Giants' issues are Manning's unpredictability, Shockey/Burress' attitudes, and poor coaching. IMHO of course. douchier great word that was kinda my point i was wondering if losing his douchiness helped them more than his productivity ward vs. tiki i still might take tiki simply on numbers
millerx
Let's see, Warrick Dunn has 5 carries for 11 yards and Jerious Norwood has three runs for 82 yards and one TD. Oh yeah, just another eternal headscratcher. I hate when teams do that. The Falcons are 1-4, what do they have to lose by opting for the more productive back? Their draft pick rank? duh... it's to lead the other team into a false sense of security!!! why can't you see that!
irish
What's wrong with B Jacobs? Why isn't he getting more looks?
SF409ers
I hope Coughlin will let Jacobs run a bit more the second half. So far it looks like a fairly even split with Ward getting a bit more action. Jacobs has the much better YPC, they need to let one of them get into groove and run, preferably Jacobs. I hate this RBBC crap!!!! And at what point does your RB's start to get pissed that they do all the work and than have Droughns come in on the one and take the score? I don't get why Coughlin does that, I can understand when you have a much bigger, more powerful back come in to get the one yard push, but last time I checked Jacobs is much bigger and more powerful than Droughns and hell even Ward can get a tough yard or 2. Drives me nuts
Gunther
What's wrong with B Jacobs? Why isn't he getting more looks? I have no idea. Didn't see Jacobs in the last couple of series I believe. Ward and sometimes both Ward and Droughns were in.

Now quit being a Rockies fan and go back to being a Broncos fan no matter how much that hurts!!!! Baseball season is over!
DMD
Okay, so Jacobs has seven carries for 61 yards, Ward has six carries for FIVE yards. Droughns has three carries for SIX yards. Why in the hell doesn't Jacobs have all 16 carries? Other than missing the first series hurt? Good thing they let Droughns score that TD to keep the "smallish" Jacobs from hurting himself.... I hate Coughlin....
SF409ers
Suffering succotash! Coughlin??!! Keep giving Jacobs the ball!! Jacobs 7-61 Ward 6-5 Droughns 3-6 As you can all tell I am a frustrated Jacobs owner. Venting complete.

Big Score 1
When Jacobs started ripping some runs beginning of the 2nd half I heard the announcers comment about him getting dinged on his first carry of the game & that's why we hadn't seen much of him the 1st half. I guess he checked out Ok at the halftime break & seems the trainers gave the Coaches the green light to use him more this half.

Big Score 1
Oh well. Jacobs didn't last long did he? I saw him limp off a few series back & then it was all Ward or Droughns gain. Anyone see if they're working on him on the sidelines? Stupid announcers haven't said squat about Jacobs.

I have not seen or heard anything yet, the announcers seem not to care much about our FF needs. Jacobs is proving to be more fragile than one would assume for a guy who is 6-4 264. LosGatosEnFuegos
Jacobs is proving to be more fragile than one would assume for a guy who is 6-4 264. Jacobs runs very upright. It is one of the biggest knocks on his running. That and the fumbles. He will be injured a fair amount until someone corrects it (if that is ever done). That is my prediction. I wonder when he will get hurt.

Big Score 1
Injured ankle, questionable to return. Yep. Half hour after he limped off, Kobler finally fills us in. Burner at the beginning of the game & ankle after a few carries at the start of the 2nd half.
irish
The G-men have 175 yards and 2 rushing tds. Imagine if Jacobs was healthy and could play?!?! I might've been able to win in the one league I lost.
