eagle4life
Now with the season just about half way over and Dallas getting dismantled by the pats @ Home,Who do you think will represent the NFC in the super bowl? I a have a hunch if the pats stay healthy the could very well go 16-0 and represent the AFC.
MonkeyOne
The NFC? Dallas.
Dave Sherman
Barring injuries, the only team that can knock Dallas out of the playoffs would be the Dallas Cowboys. They have a soft schedule and should get home field through the play-offs, so you would expect them to represent the NFC in the SB. There is no way the Pats will go 16-0. I don't know why this hype persists, but they will not go 16-0. Their schedule is too tough, they will be lucky to get home field advantage for the AFC. This shows the difference in the level of the competition in the AFC vs. the NFC.
eagle4life
why not,The only tough remaining games they have that i see is @ indy, pitt@ Home and maybe @ Baltimore. Again,If they stay healthy and keep there starters in the entire season and not resting them for the playoffs, i don't see them losing. They are that good in my opinion and i'm not even a pats fan. Dave Sherman
Everyone forgets that they lost to MIami last year. They'll lose to someone. I haven't forgotten. From our very own Huddle game breakdown: NEW ENGLAND (6-0) at MIAMI (0-6)Sunday, Oct. 21, 10 a.m. PT Line: Patriots favored by 16½ Strongest Trends: The home team is 12-3 ATS in the last 15 meetings. Miami is 7-2 ATS in its last nine home games vs. New England. Last Meeting: Miami stunned the visiting Patriots, 21-0, last December. I wouldn't be shocked if Miami beat them, and I am a Pats fan... When you have divisional matchups, you can throw the team's records out the window. Edit to add: I am more concerned about the Miami game than I was the Dallas game. Dave Sherman
I understand where you're coming from with the divisional rivalry thing but the last sentence is ridiculous. Sorry, let me quantify that. I had no doubt that the Pats would be ready for the Cowboys since it was a big game against a good team, so it was very easy for them to get motivated. The Fins game is more of a "trap game" - i.e. Meh - the Dolphins suck, we should beat them easily, and then go out and play like crap...
