SuperCharger
Tom Brady - 9/9 3TDs! 33% of this passes are TDs! This just isn't fair.

Judge Smales
So when does Brady finally take a cheap shot this year for running up the scores? Edited October 21, 2007 by Judge Smales
SuperCharger
So when does Brady finally take a cheap shot this year for running up the scores? Not quite sure you can run up the score in the first half.
Judge Smales
Not quite sure you can run up the score in the first half. Not just talking about today. 2 yard TD passes, throwing the ball on 1st down up by 21+ points, etc. I don't want to wish injury on anyone (no I'm not playing against him, nor do I have him on my teams) but might not be a bad idea to tone it down a bit later in the year. Yes the Pat's are miles ahead of anyone else in the league this year, but there are also a lot of ego's among professional atheletes as well. You just hope everyone remembers sportsmanship. Asskickas
Not quite sure you can run up the score in the first half. I'm officially a believer. 4 tds with 30 minutes to go. Brady is great but hat's off to the WRs too. If the stadium was closer I'd throw on a jersey and try to catch 1. I think Brady was 12 for 12 and over 220 last I checked. The 1 thing Miami had going was it's run game and pass D. I guess we can start making predictions on whether or not Brady will break the single game td record. Anyone know what it is? I doubt that Bellicheck will pull him even after last week's ridicule for the late td when a knee could have been taken. I can see getting upset about running up a score if you're talking about kids playing a game... but these are professional teams, professional players, professional coaches... if they can't compete with a particular team, then I say open the flood gates and score as much as you can. The only problem I might have would be if the Pats had a huge lead, and then didn't take precautions to protect their star players by letting the Jr. Varsity come out and finish things up. But that would be a knock against the coaching, not the players. If I'm a professional player, and I'm on the field, you better believe I am always going to try my hardest to defeat the opposition on every single play. If that happens, Jason Taylor and Zach Thomas will start taking cheap shots at Brady in the 4th quarter. You don't run up the score to embarrass your opponent in the NFL. That's a big no-no. Take it like a man. This is the NFL, not bush-league Steve Spurrier football. Trust me, if Brady's still throwing bombs to Moss late in the second half, everybody on the Dolphins sideline is going to be massively pissed at Belichick. You may not agree with that, but that's the culture of the NFL.
Hitman
Great performance by the Pats ....looking like an invincible machine. Brady and Moss on recording breaking paces. As a Colts fan, I prefer the media and fan-fare to continue to hype this "best team of all time" stuff. The Colts will just keep plugging along....winning games. Let me guess, the Colts will be 14 pt. underdogs in week 9 at this rate. I'm sure the Colts would have it no other way. Not saying that it's not going to happen, just stating my opinion that taking cheap shots because you're getting your ass handed to you is the losest of the low and shows your true colors as a loser. Kind of like how unprofessionally running up the score on an opponent exhibits woefully poor sportsmanship and shows what a massive douchebag one is. I wouldn't condone anybody taking cheap shots, but there are going to be repercussions for poor sportsmanship. That said, I fully expect Brady and Moss to be on the bench in the 4th quarter, so it's probably not even an issue.

I guess we'll have to agree to disagree.
