irish Posted October 22, 2007 Share Posted October 22, 2007 AP is definitely a very solid RB but I knew my Boys would basically shut him down today. 75 total yards and 1 TD is exactly non-existent but compared to some past efforts, he was held down today. Shut him Down???????? The guy had 13 touches and produced. He doesnt play first downs and sometimes didnt even get into a series???????? Dallas did not shut him down in my eyes..................Childress did. Were you watching the game? Did you not see AD get taken off the field countless times as he was heading back to the huddle...................the guy looked frustrated when he got to the sidelines and he had words with an assistant coach. Taylor should not get more than 5 or 6 runs a game for the Vikes.Peterson is a game changer and if he is not out there you are not giving your team its best shot to win.
