Randall
They said he tested positive for pot in april. I then heard he wrote a several page long letter to Goodell asking to come back. I also heard the Commish values what the dpctors say the most. Possible but unlikely I would say unless Ricky can prove he won't smoke anymore. That seems doubtful. Donutrun Jellies
RIcky Williams sees a field? Bah -- he'd spend his time trying to rototill the far endzone to plant pot in his field, forgetting there was a ball to be carried. He's wasted his talent and is likely simply wasted -- who knows if he's even aware that "Brownie" is a Dolphin running back, not just an answer to his munchies. Randall
Anyone know if he has a shot in hell of actually being an option this year? Mort was just on saying he moved to Boston a few months bak. He said he has been working intently with doctors trying to solve his problems. He said he thinks he could be reinstated within the week. If so where would he go? Miami? TB. Green Bay? PaulOttCarruth
Per Rotoworld: Despite Brown's season-ending knee injury, Chris Mortensen of ESPN reports that the Dolphins aren't interested in bringing back Ricky Williams.
Fantasy Jesus
ESPN's John Clayton believes that Ricky Williams will be reinstated within the next two weeks. Williams' agent Leigh Steinburg also believes Williams is close to hearing from the league. Chris Mortensen said otherwise Monday, but it looks like Ricky is close. We suspect the Dolphins will cut or traded. On paper, Denver and Tampa Bay could show some interest. http://www.rotoworld.com/content/playerpag...NFL&id=1312

Randall
Doctors can help cure immaturity and lack of accountability? They can only lead him in that direction, but like any substance abuser he has to do them himself.

We suspect the Dolphins will cut or traded. Obviously, Henry's troubles give them reason to be on the lookout for another back, but would they seriously consider replacing one suspended-for-weed dipchit with another? For that matter, is there anyone out there that sincerely believes Ricky is done with the herb long enough to warrant consideration (even if he is reinstated)?? If I am an NFL owner, I am no more interested in Ricky Williams than I am in Tennessee Williams. Liverlips
Didn't anyone here go to college? Did anyone experiment? Do they test for this in college? If they did I would assume more would be banned. I hope he makes it back, would make a great ESPN show.

It sounds like he is trying hard(moving to Boston 4 months ago and working with therapists to change) to grow up and take responsibility. I hope he makes it. There's a hugh diffence between "experimenting in college", and pissing away millions of dolars b/c you can't wait until your career is over to smoke pot. Liverlips
Do colleges pay students to attend? Was talking about college athletes d i c k head. I think they give them tuition, meals, and board. If you know the answer, yes or no would be fine.
