Cunning Runt
They've obviously got a huge game November 4th, but both first must play another game first. Colts play at Carolina week 8. Pats host the Redskins week 8. Does anyone see either of these two games that as trap games that could realistically be lost by either team? For my part, I think they both are losable. Carolina can be a dangerous team, but with the QB situation being what it is, I like the Colts chances quite a bit. I think the Pats have a much tougher game. The Redskins D is just the type that can give the Pats problems - solid DBs that can cover man-to-man and a defensive scheme that brings a lot of pressure. On Sirius NFL Radio, they were talking about Brady's QB rating being the highest in the NFL when he's not hurried, but one of 4 or 5 lowest when he is. That's an extremely telling stat. Look for the Redskins to bring the heat and have some success doing it. Edited October 23, 2007 by Cunning Runt
WaterMan
Why is everyone saying trap game all the time?
Caveman_Nick
Both the Colts and the Pats are playing 4-2 teams. I don't see how you overlook a 4-2 team.

#1 Niners Fan
I am not sure either team will lose their respective games (but it is also not crazy to think they would), but I will tell you this, I am ALL OVER that 16 point line that they put on the NE vs Wash game....Wash probalby wont win, but will stay with them... Going to vegas this weekend...I may put a MLB on the Redskins, since I will get really good odds due to the line...
Randall
I think they're both focused so I don't think so. Both have veterans that won't let that happen.

I'm real surprised by this line and normally don't bet sports, but just may get in on this - especially if I can find a teaser I like and get 6 more pts. Yeah, I was looking around just now and saw that.... I guess the line I saw on Yahoo was even low....16-17 points??? Money line bet I saw on ESPN was +1100....bet $10 to win $110...I may even do that this weekend!

Be careful the Pats are 7-0 ATS (all BIG numbers) and I don't see a -16 getting in the way.

Yeah, but I am not sure NE has played as good of defense as they are going to see this weekend...they are 8th against the pass, 5th against the run, 5th overall, and has allowed only 14.7 points allowed, good for third in the league... This one could be a good one!
