Cunning Runt
I acquired him as an add-on in a trade to make the numbers even, and I'm not sure what I've got. It would appear that he's an upside player at best, but in checkng his numbers, it looks like he hadn't gotten any playing time until this past weekend. Granted, Lendale went over 100yds and a touch, but Henry had 11 carries for 57yds and a touch himself. I know Chris Brown is hurt, but not long-term. I think I may hold on to the guy for a weeks to see if anything happens with him. I'm curious though if anyone else hmight have any insight on him that you'd care to share? kingfish247
Lendale has a nose for the end zone and has settled into a consistent level of production. Although he's been prone to fumbles too. Brown is injured but even before the injury he hadn't done anything outstanding since week 1. Not sure if he'll be back soon or not but, FWIW, the Tennessean reported Fisher says he will retain his role once healthy. Running back Chris Brown, who sprained his left ankle against the Buccaneers on Oct. 14 and did not play against the Texans, might be back this week, Fisher said. Fisher said rookie running back Chris Henry "did what we thought he would do" by taking 11 carries 57 yards in his first NFL game but he didn't leapfrog Brown. As soon as Brown is ready to return he'll again be paired with LenDale White, Fisher said. Lendale and Henry make for a perfect combo in the backfield. Even though it would be RBBC, it would be a very productive one. To me, Henry looks like their best RB. He's much more explosive out of the backfield than either Brown/White and he has the size to be an every down RB. Even if it's true that Brown will retain his role once healthy, I think Henry is still worth a flier in a redraft league as Brown and White have never proved to be very durable RBs. Also, if Brown can't go again this week and Henry has another productive game it will be difficult to make Henry inactive again.
