chinatown dragons
Really? If thats the case, solidifies me picking him up, as HURTING at RB...only legit back is Addai..... Gore is struggling, banged up and Niners offense is...well...awful..... Norwood is the more explosive back but Atlanta wont use him..... Been waiting to see if anyone emerged as a 'starter' this late in the season who was available on waivers so i could finally release Ronnie Brown... it also was good to see at least he got carries down by the goal line, even if he didnt punch it in.... could be decent starter this week
Randall
He did name him, as he named Wynn the starter last week. He's probably trying to get someone to step up. I hope he does it. He is listed at 6-1 218 even though he looks smaller. Edited October 30, 2007 by Randall
Pkillebr
I was going to pick him up last week but decided not to when Wynn was named the starter and the plan was for Morency to back him up. As soon as I saw him go in last night and Wynn go out, I picked him up. I'm planning to start him as my 3rd RB in Flex behind Larry Johnson and AP so I'm hoping to have a pretty solid game next week. Wait, you can pick up a player off the ww during games? What kind of league is that?
chinatown dragons
We can do the same thing...You can "claim" a player during the game..... It can be somewhat of a gamble..... Example: after 1st half, I claimed Grant......IF he got injured, or if Wynn came back in and Grant got NO carries, doesnt matter...Obligated to pick him up.... Our league also limits number of drop/adds to 6 per year.......It can be tough, but eliminates the teams just dropping and adding players at will, and makes you think more about whether or not you want that player..makes you draft smarter with regard to byes..... course, some guys still dont get it......Team with Brady lost Delhomme to injuries...instead of picking up a back up QB he burnt threw his drop/adds....so now come week 10, unless a team trades with him, he's got NO qb... Pkillebr
It's just a Yahoo league with work buddies. The adds aren't reflected in my line-up until the next day but I can officially claim them ahead of anyone else.
