Cameltosis
love tapas.... was going to do a favorite spanish, but i don't think a lot of people know spanish food.. what are some of your favorite tapas? I figured just saying Tapas might be too general. Anyway, I have only been to a couple of spanish restaurants so I dont remember all the names of the dishes. But I love squid, they had a couple different dishes that were great. Also, a garlic clove in a cream sauce that i loved. I actually asked for a recipe a while ago on this board because of that dish. Umm, we had a sausage dish in a red sauce that was awesome. We also had some spicey pork and beef dishes but i dont remember much else except that they were in a nice dark brown sause that was very rich and a little spicey. I love those places but the wife and i normally only do the tapas thing with a group and unfortunately we havent done that sort of thing in a little while. Cameltosis
I would also like to add fondue, if its done right. The wife and i spend a week in switzerland and we were fortunate enough to have a fondue dinner at a friend of a friends house. One of the best meals and experiences I have ever had. SheikYerbuti
Indian restaurants have this dish that's called by different names. It's chicken in a cream based curry sauce with almonds and golden raisins. Some places call it Mughlai, some call it Pasanda. Whatever it is, it's yummmmmy.
