dabuffbills
Through 7 games, Reggie only has 2 rushing TDs and 1 receiving TD. I know that a lot of that probably has to do with the Saints slow start to the season, but after Deuce got injured, I figured Reggie's TD numbers would go up a bit. What are your opinions on Reggie and the second half of the season? Will the Saints continue to give the ball to other people in the red zone or will Bush have a great second half to the season like last year? Cnote187
He is having a solid year this year, so far in my opinion he also has one recieving touchdown, he is on pace for 90 + catches again and probably when it's all said and done will turn in an easy 1200 yard season rushing. all if he stays healthy of course. Avernus
I never liked him as an every down back...or as the "featured back"... I think he needs a power back to keep the defense honest and they should line him up anywhere they please... I want to trade for him and move Peterson on a sheer gut move...but I feel that Bush may be the wrong player to get now... the circumstances are different between this year and last year... PaulOttCarruth
I've been impressed with what he's shown since Duece is out. He's running well between the tackles. He's shown some power (particularly on the goal line run). I think in the 49er game last week, if he doesn't get nicked and if the game is slightly closer, he had a shot at 150+ all-purpose yards and a touchdown. For the rest of the year, I think he'll be relatively consistent. He should get around 100-120 all purpose yards on most weeks and sprinkle in the occassional TD. I second that, but I think he becomes a little more consistent scoring TDs as well.
