MrTed46
Have you guys ever given up more value then your getting (on paper)? I know my trade was lopsided in the other guys favor but I did get the player I wanted and what makes it seem is lopsided is that my bench guy will be his starter (and traded 2 of my starters for 2 of his). So basically he got 3 starters while I got 2. On paper he def got the better deal and I know I gave up 2 much but I only really lost depth. Do you guys do this or do you always look for fair value? I am sure some people in the league will be like It's raining men! Hallelulah! It's raining men! did he do but I was fully aware and dont regret it (today). tonorator
this is a great tactic. sacrificing depth to put a better team up each week is smart fantasy football, even if you have to give more than you get sometimes. the only thing that can bite you in the az is injury. SMF
The reason to draft depth is so that you have something to barter with when trading. I think this is a great strategy and keep it up
loaf
I seemingly gave up more when I traded Cedric Benson for Kenton Keith...but I'm an Addai owner so it makes sense to me. Plus I was sick of starting that lame ass and leaving points on my bench
Easy n Dirty
Agree with everyone above - I will almost always trade depth to improve my starting lineup, and if I overpay a little bit so be it. This is even more true at this point in the season with most of the bye weeks behind us.
