Usually everyone is technically alive for the playoffs, but everyone can still make a move after using all of the players they drafted for bye weeks. The commish in that league actually freezes our rosters at that point...which blows because we have strict position limits. I've lost a few seasons thanks to a late injury in the playoffs...
