KC Crazy
Obviously depends upon the team he goes on but after seeing a couple of his games this year the kid is amazing. Hopefully he gets to go on some team like Dallas like I keep seeing projected!!!
Chavez
The 'Boys better start tanking some games then, because I don't see GB passing up on any top RBs.
keggerz
The 'Boys better start tanking some games then, because I don't see GB passing up on any top RBs. but they can draft him in the top 5 with Clevelands pick....oh wait
KC Crazy
was thinking of the clevland pick as well, but they are playing a little too well to get a top 5 which is where McFadden will likely go. Atlanta seems to be a popular pick which would suck for him.

Riffraff
i thought dallas was pretty set with barber and jones. JJones is a free agent and Barber will be a Restricted Free Agent. No talks with either on a contract extension. Never discount Dallas overpaying for Michael Turner (HC Phillips connection?)

Chavez
Why pay Turner when you can pay Barber and Jones? Because having one RB is always better than two.
broncosn05
Not many of those terrible teams in the league this year really need a RB. IE Dolphins, Rams, NYJ, ATL, CIN, SF.
Sleeping King
If the 49ers keep losing Belichick might cause another huddle hissyfit by taking McFadden. Which would be greatness.
Bill Swerski
Not many of those terrible teams in the league this year really need a RB. IE Dolphins, Rams, NYJ, ATL, CIN, SF. You think that the Jets will stick with an aging and injury-prone Thomas Jones and that the Bengals are cool with Rudi the Plodder?

How does NE have the rights to SFs first round draft pick?
detlef
Did I miss something? How does NE have the rights to SFs first round draft pick? I was wondering the same thing. edit to add: Wow, just checked it out and that's true. So, that pick is looking pretty nice about now. Certainly takes the sting away from losing their own 1st round pick, doesn't it? Edited November 5, 2007 by detlef
muck
Wow... had forgotten about that trade...everyone was fawning over Dallas trading w/ Cleveland and, in so doing, appear to have forgotten that NE traded their 1.28 last year for a 4th round pick last year and SFs first round pick this coming draft (SF took Joe Staley, OT, fwiw). kingfish247
Not many of those terrible teams in the league this year really need a RB. IE Dolphins, Rams, NYJ, ATL, CIN, SF. I'd say with the exceptions of Rams and SF... none of those teams have solid RB situations. Besides, that logic didn't stop the Vikings from drafting AD. Although, barring injury to McFadden, I don't see the teams with the top 6 picks in the draft passing on him.

Yup, at the time, Cleveland was the perennial door mat and my Niners were a sexy pick to win the West. Well, I remember liking what I read about Staley, so hopefully it works out OK. <<positive thoughts, positive thoughts>>

I'm still a bit miffed that KC passed on him for Bowe ... I still think that OL was a bigger need than a WR (even if that WR has turned out to be a pretty darn good player). Sgt. Ryan
The Pats draft Mcfadden. And admit Maroney was a colossal bust. Whats funny is the Pats tried to cock block the Colts and take Maroney in front of them, only to see Addai the much better back.
Skilly
The way this season is going, Denver will be right there at the top of the draft, and I could see them taking McFadden. Not that they don't need so many other players at other positions, but it might be time to draft a stud rb they can hang onto for awhile. Personally, I'm sick of them throwing rbs away, assuming they can always plug in another.

Teams are going to be leery about passing up on this guy, because of what AD is doing now. Many were obviously burnt on passing on AD, and I doubt that happens next yr, even though AD is probably more talented than Mcfadden. Edited November 5, 2007 by Sgt. Sgt. Ryan
So is McFadden the # 1 rookie pick next year in fantasy leagues? Id say so. Unless the Oregon RB Stewart comes out and goes to a much better NFL situation.
